It's only a two-year deal that would still leave him RFA.

Pretty ironic but the Wild and JEE are closing on a long term extension lol

That had a few surprises on it to me. Sturm worth less than MarJo and Bjugstad. Brodin being the least paid and Dumba the most on the contracts for the top-4 d-men.

MN pretty much has to go long term with JEE. The cupboard is so barren at center, they can't let the 1 quality NHL center they have walk away. I just hope it isn't another Koivu overpay when they were in the same spot like 10 years ago.

For context, evolving hockey doesn’t have a 2 year deal as the most probable…but they do give contract projections for every term length.
They also specify whether the player is more likely to resign or go to FA (Bonino, MarJo etc…)

The EW guys have always overvalued Dumba and undervalued Brodin IMO. I've gone round and round with them over those 2 for the last 5+ years.
