I'd take Alec Martinez in a heartbeat. We should also be looking at Jake McCabe and Jamie Oleksiak as short-term solutions. Long-term solutions are a trade or the eighth overall pick.

I'm still a fan of @tkecanuck341's Turcotte, Madden/Thomas and the 2021 first for Chychrun, Sergachev or Werenski. I don't hold out much hope, though.

Well, all three of the kids are unavailable. And I think that Las Vegas will move Reilly Smith to keep Martinez rather than get another top-6 center.

Almost correct. My offer was Turcotte, Walker, and the #8. If we acquire a defensemen of that caliber then Walker loses his protection slot and needs to be moved.
