He hasn't YET, and FA is what 2 weeks away now? He might just decide to wait and see what will be offered.

I agree I don't mind Hall at 6.5 max on a long term deal but not 8.4

Lol Montreal would be the one's adding to the trade, not Buffalo. Personally I have no interest in acquiring a huge question mark for Risto. If he is traded, it's likely for the best pick or prospect we can get

or you see theres this thing call the expansion draft and maybe the bruins and hall are waiting till after to sign the contract so they can protect another player scream

nope. it would be buffalo adding. drouin is the better player

From a pure offensive outlook, Risto has more 40+ point seasons than Drouin. It's pretty conclusive when a D-man on the worst team in the league is putting up more offensive numbers than a forward who played on a very good Tampa and pretty good Montreal team. Defensively Drouin does nothing. Risto isn't great but he's not terrible like people make him out to be. Risto grinds harder minutes, plays physical, and doesn't randomly leave the team in the middle of the season so he's by far a better player
