Seems a little high for Svech, although it would be hilarious to watch Montreal offer sheet another CAR RFA.

Why are you trading Gallagher? Looks like there is plenty of cap space to keep him. If not, find a cheaper alternative to Larsson.

Vancouver Declines

I doubt that, Vancouver's 1st is likely to be a mid to late pick and Gally would be a great addition to that group. Montreal would decline that before Vancouver ever had the chance.

Agree. When cap is at a premium 6.25m X 6 seems like bad long term value. Now Schmidt for Gallagher could be a trade.

LMAO Gallagher is not over 30, and is a consistent 30 goal scorer. 3 of the last 4 years he has hit or been on pace for 30 goals. The real issue with Vanvouver is their horrible cap management and issuing of trade protection.

LMAO, Gallagher is worth more than Schmidt. You may want to look at Gallagher's stats and advanced stats. Then consider that he is one of the league's best at 5 vs 5 scoring, consistently being in the top 10.

Wait you are saying the Canuvk should only spend a 1st on a 30+ player?! Now I know you are ridiculous! You don't set age limits on 1st round picks, you set skill limits. For instance a top 6 winger capable of putting up 20+ goals is worth a 1st+ whether he is 22 or 35. Also you don't limit your ability to get better by passing on players who are top 10 in the league in 5 on 5 goals, that is moronic. You may not like the player or (for whatever reason) his contract but that does not decrease his value which is based on production. His contract is not as bad as you let on he is only signed until he is 35 and for a simolar or cheaper contract than similar scorers.

you set age limits as Gally will not translate well at the end of his contract.

When did yzerman trade a 1st to make his team better? not before he new Tampa would compete for the cup.
MORONIC Gms trade 1sts before then

I'm trading Gally for cap space to sign Suzuki next year...
