Strome doesn't really help Calgary, only thing he offers is the way he hold his stick. Besides that Calgary already has Monahan and Tkachuk so adding another slow top 6 forward is definitely not a good idea

Oilers decline, first we already have a third string goalie in Stalock, secondly Kieths not coming to Edmonton with his full cap hit, yr ones not the real concern it’s yr two as Nurse needs a new deal

None of those moves really are likely. Carpenter should get a better return for a defensive forward who's decent at the dot whilst EDM and CGY trades don't help those teams and the return for us isn't great.
