Description

Obviously, Seth Jones will be traded. One thing that I didn't do here was anything involving Werenski. I think CBJ management may need to address that as well. Otherwise, I don't think I did anything too out of the ordinary. Murphy and Kuraly are local products that would likely enjoy coming back to Columbus. This team is not a juggernaut by any stretch, but would be competitive.

As a Hawks fan...I can acknowledge Seth Jones is better than Murphy. That hard part is the rental for Jones. NO, I don't think 1 year of Jones is worth a whole lot more than 1 year of Murphy. The cap hit deltas make up for the playing ability deltas when it comes to a 1 year rental. Certainly not worth a 1st. I'd prefer to not do any Seth Jones trade and just sign him next summer without giving up any assets.
