This is a bad Leaf roster. If Polak comes back, it would be for just one year. And apparently Kulikov has been awful this season.

Kulikov has been a bust with the Sabres. Zaitsev is their #1 right shot, and you have Kulikov (a left shot) on the right, which Babcock hates. Zaitsev would get the money instead of Kulikov. If they do bring in Kulikov, it'd be on a one year "prove it" deal, kind of like what Vanek got with Detroit.
