The TBL trade literally makes 0 sense. IF the Ducks are going to ship off Bernier, it wont be for a higher cap hit back up.

Also, i don't feel the Ducks need to give a 1st rounder and vat for landy,but thats my opinion and we all have one.

Why does a higher cap hit mean anything if they are both UFAs at the end of the year? i do agree with you on the Landeskog deal but the Bishop comment makes zero sense and isn't half bad in my opinion

Have to get something for Bishop before he leaves. Why? There are about 90 upcoming UFAs, they all don't get traded. If Tampa thinks they are stronger this year with Bishop than without him, they won't be trading him, especially for about 55th pick.

Agreed, TB will keep Bishop for the playoffs (if they make it). Bernier has been fine for ANA, no need to move him unless we need cap space for a bigger move.

IMO, Landeskog is worth more than that and COL has no use for another RH offensive D-man. EJ + Vatanen would mean that Barrie would be on the 3rd pairing. He may deserve to be there given his current play, but ~5M D-man sitting on the 3rd line is bad for any team.
