Description

Reichel, Nylander, and Kampf are the wildcards for me... I think Hinostroza deserves a shot but if Borgstrom and Reichel have a good camp it could force him out. I don't think Kampf should be on this team, Nylander will get a shot but idk where he fits...maybe leaves in a trade package this summer?

Tempting to use that $16 million in cap space, however, Kubalik, Hagel, and Jones need contracts again next summer. Team also needs to keep some cap space open for a goalie in the next few years (I hope the Fleury rumors are not true).

The Hawks will wait the 1 single year...and then keep ALL these assets. Stupid to offer a ton for a guy that had said he wants out. They shouldn't even offer Boqvist alone.

Not sure a rebuilding team with plenty of cap space would waste a 2nd rd pick to entice Seattle for a cap dump.

Agreed trading Boqvist + 1st would be stupid af!

Boqvist has 29 points in 76 total games, That pretty good for a 20 year old defensemen that isn't fully developed.
Jones in his 1st 77 games had a total of 25 points, the production between them in there 1st season is very similar.
Also, Jones made it clear, he wants to leave CBJ and won't resign next off-season. So teams have the negotiation advantage over CBJ.
