I think you’re being really optimistic with that st. Louis deal.

If were trading Krebs, we’ll just go trade him for Jack. We can beat that package you are sending lol

You mean other than 13OA, another 1st, taking a chance on Patrick, a 35+ point D man who can play either side? Those kind of benefits?

Why? Voracek has been healthy and Tarasenko has not. Both teams are in win now mode so getting a top line RWer to replace Tarasenko makes sense to me.

A year longer for his contract though. I don’t think anyone wants voracek. Its likely the blues would prefer to just give him away than take voracek back.

So a win now team would prefer to get nothing that can help them than a top line winger? Voracek produces at a .75-.85 pt/g rate. Good luck finding that kind of replacement for Tarasenko. Who cares about the extra year if he is still productive.

0% chance Coots would sign an extension in BUF.

Ghost was placed on waivers for a reason. Dallas could’ve had him for free, but decided not to. Patrick isn’t anything special anymore, he’s another injury prone player that we already have a lot of. The two first are nice don’t get me wrong, but for a team that literally only has one competent RHD (Klingberg), and a team that is also looking to make the playoffs like the Flyers, it doesn’t make much sense because Dallas isn’t in a rebuild.

First off, well, ya. Its a salary cap league man, and the flat cap era to boot.

Second, are they a win now team?

The 35+ point d man is a farce. The guy was on waivers. No one wants him. He’s a negative value asset.

STL is definitely in win now mode and a player with 1 year left is easy enough to move if needed.

A farce? I mean it really isn't hard to look up the stats and do a little math and extrapolate over an 82 game season. He has had 1 year where he wouldn't have hit that. Was on pace for 40 this season. I also find it hilarious that all you clowns think you know why Ghost was waived...it wasn't because he is bad FYI.

Fletcher took a calculated risk that a team wouldn't want to take on Ghosts contract without moving money out.

What actually happened is philly was hoping to ditch a bad contract. They put the player on waivers, and no other team wanted him. That’s very simple.

Sure. I’ll believe the highly logical, nearing object fact take. You can believe the highly illogical fairytale.
