What is the asking price for MAF? Reports state that the Pens will buy him out if they cant trade him and they also reported they wont trade him unless he's asked. I could be off a little on my reports, but isn't there a market for this guy that isn't basically giving him away? Jets, Dallas (like you mentioned), Calgary, all need proven NHL goalies and that's what MAF is

maf looks lost and when you are trying to trade a goalie you probably want him playing his best not sitting the bench with his worst career numbers...hell get bought out

Both reports are correct, but Rutherford hasn't given a specific asking price for him. I think Rutherford wants to keep Fleury for their playoff run and either buy him out or trade him after the season is over. The latter option is unlikely with the incoming expansion draft, but they could work out a deal with Vegas. Personally, I would be shocked if Fleury isn't gone by the TD, but stranger things have happened.
