Ideal bruins offseason

Created by: pastrnak_is_my_dad
Team: 2021-22 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 13, 2021
Published: Jul. 13, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is not what boston does IMO but this is what I would like.
I would ideally like to Keep Debrusk and give him till the deadline to bounce back. He has the ability and the skill in order to do so. If he struggles dump him off and get another 3rd liner at the deadline. He should have more than enough room with a healthy coyle and a Coleman.

Coleman going to get more money. I would like to be Maroon, that is not happening and he is not leaving Tampa.

of course its the Tampa fan. 4M is market value for him BOS might overpay a little bit for him such as 4.5 Maroon could be gone to make room for younger players in the bottom 6 to start growing for Tampa.

Usually not a fan of Bear trades on hear but the package is decent. Would have to at least consider if there's a halfway decent replacement plan to backfill his spot.

Bruins my number two team born and grew up in the Boston suburbs, According Bruins sources Goodrow the target at 4 mill plus, Coleman worth more than goodrow. https://bostonhockeynow.com/2021/07/12/boston-bruins-source-bruins-will-go-hard-after-barclay-goodrow/

you really believe an article by jimmy murphy? Guy has not gotten anything right is years.
Also Colemans market value is 4-5 M I believe he would be willing to go to BOS for 4M. Also congrats on the back to back

I added Zborjl to take Bears spot, although he is not nearly as good, he could still end up being a good 4th-5th D man.

dang did not know that BOS can still prolly get another player like Tatar or Hyman for a little less/more than him for the 3rd line

That's A LOT for Bear. Or do we think Bear will play better when he's on the Bruins? Get it? Bear? Bruin?

    C'mon, that's funny...

Coleman story is great. Traded to Tampa on 2/16/20. His wife is due and delivers a baby on 2/28/20, Story is that Stamkos wife took charge helping her find doctors in Tampa.

This year during the playoffs 6/15 Coleman’s wife, Jordan, went into labor on a Sunday morning and was admitted into the hospital shortly after 7 a.m. With puck drop set for 3 p.m., Coleman was faced with a game-time decision. He played. Coleman knew he was taking a small risk. Updates throughout the game helped him keep tabs on Jordan. Baby born late that night.

Ethan Bear is good but that's way too much especially if you're playing him on the 3rd pair.

Ducks have Dostal. Vladar is older but both had very good numbers last season over seas and in the AHL. Plus the ducks need is scoring so drafting a forward would be more beneficial IMO.

Ritchie and Kase don't have the value needed even in a pair for Bear. They are both RFAs with QOs that are too high Zborjl gets upgraded and you give up a first which (be honest) boston was gunna miss on anyway

Understood. Shoulda looked more into the ducks needs instead of throwing the trade together that quickly.

All good. I had to double check the scouting report on Studnicka as I didn’t think he was as good as he is.

Ritchie does not have no value, not according to NHL GMs. The Bruins can minimally get a 4th. Ritchie's QO is $2M. How is that too high?

"you give up a first which (be honest) boston was gunna miss on anyway" That's a really bad decision.

its a first and Zborjl basically. Ritchie and Kase are not coming back no matter what next year.

You're not understanding. Ritchie has value on the market. Kase may not be back because of QO but I doubt Ritchie won't receive a QO. Maybe he's traded but it's not a 1st and Zboril. Ritchie has more value than Zboril.
