I'm just happy we never traded for him - I can care less if he signs a 1 year deal, he's a huge upgrade on komarov

Looks a lot like the Blues effectively paying Eberle 8m of the cap and getting 4 lotto tickets. I hope they can do better than this.

I like Bolduc too, but if they got Dunn he becomes expendable imo

5.5 million for a guy whos played 34 games the past 3 years feels like a lotto ticket to me. tbh
    Isles777 and Islesforthecup liked this.

One of the best defensive forwards in the league and you offer him a significant pay cut

That’s a good point, but they’ll need someone to play the year after when Suter likely leaves/retires.

Who’s even the best prospect out of the triad of Bolduc, Wilde, and Salo? I thought (from best to worst) it was Wilde, Bolduc, Salo, but I could be wrong.

lol right - at this point in his career he's a decent 3rd liner - Isles writers will make it like he's the missing piece , this guy wrote an article earlier today about Beauvillier being streaky. These guys only praise isles players over 30+, watch parise go 20 games without a goal and this guy will write an article about his intangibles.

salo is the best of the 3 and most likely to reach his ceiling. Wilde has the most upside.

He's a 4th line defensive forward over 30. If he wants over 2.5 mill he's gone

I love Cizikas as much as anyone but people talk about the 4th line like theyre the perfection line.
