Description
For me now it seems like that Poile decide to make a rebuild/retool. Nearest two drafts must be unbelievable. So, it is just perfect time.
Likely the protection list will be like that:
Protection list:
Forsberg, Kunin, Järnkrok
Josi, Ellis, Ekholm, Fabbro, Carrier
Saros
IDK why he didn't trade Järnkrok over Arvidsson (probably he thinks, that Arvi will have less value than Järnkrok at the 2021 TDL).
But for me it's obvious, that he want to free up as more cap space in long term as possible.
So he will protect Järnkrok over Sissons, and Seattle will pick Sissons on the expansion draft.
If 2nd+3rd and Johansen or Duchene will be good enough for Seattle, we will see that. However, I can't imagine, that Poile will lose his 1st round pick for such type of moves.

Preds will pay more than enough money to save Granlund. Good hardworking mentor for the young players, and active that can be traded at TDLs.
Rinne retired, because he know, that GMDP planning to make rebuild. So there's no chance for the cup in near future.
One of the key moments of this off-season will be trade of Ryan Ellis.
He still has perfect value on the market. His salary isn't to much, but Preds don't need to keep him in near to years(while he is more effective), so that's why they will trade him.
Also Preds will trade Grimaldi.

After first half of the season Preds will be one of the worst teams in the league.
Forsberg, Ekholm, Järnkrok will be traded (the end of Swedish era for Preds). Strälman, Benning also will be traded (if someone wants them).
You can write your ideas of the trades in comments.

Later I will publish version with TDL deals.

Seems reasonable, although how you feel about TK could change that

Pretty solid.

I’d say they should get a backup goalie for 1 year other than Ingram, but other than that I would be happy with this. I wonder if you could get a 2nd out of FLA though

Traded Ardvi cause he was gonna be exposed and were gonna lose him to Seattle. He had value that's why he was moved. Jarnkrok doesn't have as much value and only has 1 year left making him a lot easier to lose compared to a guy with 3 years left. TSN Insider Trading mention Preds are trying to move a d man before the expansion draft, I suspect that would be either Ellis or Ekholm. so a deal happen sooner rather than in-season.

Cats aren’t retaining on Stralman and a 3rd is fair value without retention but willing to pay a 2nd as the Rangers did for Staal.

I like this. I don't know that PHI accepts, but I'm also not sure that the team you've put together would be one of the league's worst teams at the TDL (which is good as a Preds fan). Depending on what the young guys do, I think this team could be better than this past year, or at least compete for a playoff spot. They are also a lot younger so the future would be bright in Nashville. I don't think losing Arvi is as big of a deal as some people have made it out to be. The only really big piece that would be missing from this past year is Ellis.
