That 3rd line would get abused on the road against the top Atlantic teams

I think the best course of action would be to put Tara on 1RW, Tippett 2RW, Duclair 3LW or 3RW with lundell and Denisenko

except for the goaltending. Thats the big IF of this team. Also dont think Lundell makes it till 2023 or 2024.

I really like Florida, never had anything against them or the fan base, I'm worried that they're about to find out who regular season Sam Bennett is and backlash at the Flames.

not at all - Tippett is very good defensively and Lundell will immediately be an impact player in the NHL.

Yes. Playing 3 kids together not a great idea.

That would be ridiculous. Why that long? I think this team is great but besides Weegar and Ekblad, the defence needs a bit of work. Forsling is good oto

yeah that seems solid, I just figured since Tippett is good defensively it would make sense to put him with Lundell + Denisenko

Honestly he might win the Calder if he played right now. I’d bet on him for sure

lol yeah me too. I can't believe NSH and Buffalo passed on him. I think he's easily a top 5 player in a re-draft - he'll be Bergeron 2.0.

thats what we say of every prospect. Dont see him ready till 2022-2024 at the earliest. Needs a year in the AHL before we can say for sure as Panthers dont want another Borgstrom situation

I can't say I agree with that evaluation of tippett lol, haven't seen anything that points to much defensive prowess
Duclair has been fine defensively this year, he has even PKed quite a bit

He's above average in both xga/60 and ca/60 - I'm not saying Duclair is bad defensively, either option is fine tbh

I mean the Sens top line was basically Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson lol and then had Stutzle-Pinto together at the end. But I mean rookies haha.

You over estimate rookies or basically rookies effectiveness against bigger and more experienced lines.

no, Lundell had incredible production in his D+1. Players who produce like him in their D+1 are ready to make an impact in the NHL in their D+2.

Lundell is absolutely incredible, looked like an NHL player almost every time i watched him
I'd say he is probably a top 4 or 5 player drafted in the 2020 draft at this point based on production / defensive play everywhere

In general I would be patient. Rushing rookies no matter how good can either go great of cause major problems in their development. I would let him go to the AHL see how he adjusts then bring him up if he is "too good" for that level of play. Worked with many big prospects in the past.

He’s played 52 regular season games, he easily falls under the basically rookies portion of my comment

As suggested by other commenters, move a young guy or two around and its a very good team

By definition Tippett is not a rookie next season.

Im fully aware of what constitutes a rookie. Basically means close to or like. He’s played less games than others that lost their rookie status after one year in the league this season. I guess asking for comprehension on your side is too much. Have a nice day.
