After hearing Larsson is likely done in EDM, I would love for the Jets to target him. I like the idea of trying to sign Oleksiak too.

I know there were rumors of Niku to NSH in the past (not sure why), but I just can't see it.

Exactly what I heard a few weeks ago but report today came out that Barrie likely stays in EDM and Larsson is out...I’ll try and find the link again.

Not a fan of the Larsson signing in full honesty 4M plus to someone who’s above average is really risky and i think the right side is fine maybe look at the prospects the team has and look at the right side and let him play in the nhl

I like the Oleksiak one though because he’d have a bigger role then what his role was in Dallas that I feel he’d thrive in

The next RD would be Tucker Poolman (or Niku) and a huge drop off after that. I don't know about you, but would not be ok with a Stanley/Poolman 3d pair. We are going to need another NHL RD if we want to have any depth at all.

Poolman is a pretty decent 3rd pair dman and MIGHT be an okay 2nd pair dman but the Jets 2nd pair LHD is an empty slot so Poolman couldn't be tried as a 2nd pair RHD to see how he fairs, the Jets defense is just so terrible.. Lol

I like what you did here signing Oleksiak and Larsson though I think I'd swap it around and put Oleksiak with Pionk and Morrissey with Larsson, I'm not a DeMelo fan but he'd be nice depth to have on the 3rd pair, sounds like Oleksiak is staying in Dallas though and who knows if Larsson would consider signing in Winnipeg, that is if Chevy is even inquiring about him.
