Description

Hoping Francis had made deals along the way to get first picks because looking at this team and hoping that UFAs sign with them is a big gamble by Francis... With the available players that were on the list... If no BIG deals are on the table then Francis just lost himself another GM position.. Marketing wise... I ain't buying a shirt from this list.

He's got good players here.. but not a team to get him to the series. This ain't a Vegas Knights year 1 team.

Can't wait to see what rabbit he's about to pull from his hat.

Seems like a team that will struggle to score goals. Could be a shoo in for a lottery pick though.

Liked the D and Goalies .. and that is MORE important in today's game .. moreso for playoffs.. essentially missign a 1st line .. look for cap space to go for "stars" that get bought out ..

Sure they could have taken on some high priced contracts for overpaid players and got sweeteners but Francis isn't playing that game. Kraken wants to be good now, and they can add UFAs...not necessarily this year but next year too and have great cap management and a good team.

Not a bad team, built a solid back end (with room to move 1 or 2), 2 lines up front that can easily compete (with $29M to still spend if needed), the #2 Pick in the draft and two goalies who can play at the NHL level. I am certain he already has some trades line up here today at 1pm and can round out this team by opening night.
