Tyler Johnson will only be moved for 7 first rounders. And even if that happens, he won’t waive.

The amount of Hawks fans on twitter that think this is a good trade is astounding and concerning.

Seriously just bailed out the 2 year in a row stanley cup champ with essentially a 11 mil cap swing considering Seabrook is LTIR. Do teams realize they can abuse the LTIR like Tampa does?

Johnson was never THAT bad .. it just Tampa envy. . A 4th liner on Tampa is a 2nd liner on most other teams.. THAT the sad reality of the haters on here ..

YES .. Ask Arizona .. but why it works for Tampa is we could form two teams .. Tampa A and Tampa B and STILL both would make the playoffs.. wow

If a GM had balls, offer sheet both Colton and Foote for $1.3M each. If they both signed, I don’t think TB could afford to match both. They’d be forced to make another trade (Palat maybe).

All teams know it, but very few have the team to take advantage of it on the ice.

All he knows is Stan and the Blackhawks brass are terrible at evaluating players via trade. Tampa has been trying to move that contract for so long, and he bites with a weak incentive.
