No from NYR at this point. Echiel has serious health issues and with buffalo delaying stuff no need to overpay when they are in a position of weakness. We should be looking at dvorak for cap reasons as well as health.

This is by no means an overpay.

Dvorak isn't half the player Eichel is.

I think this gets it done for buffalo. It has pieces of value that make sense for both teams, and it leaves out the stuff that is not needed- like zac jones, or questionable value- like georgiev. Whether it works out or not, it seems remarkably close to what it would take.

With all of eichels injuries it easily is. You don't know what type of player he will be returning from this surgery, not to mention this hasn't been done in the nhl level don't know the ramifications it can have on them. Dvorak is a defensive player and has fantastic all around stats perfect for a second liner with an amazing contact of 4.5 for 4 years. We risk losing ziba for eichel not worth it.

What surgery? Eichel has been requesting it for over 3 months and constantly been denied and even as recent as 2 days ago requested it once again and buffalo said no. This surgery hasn't been done in the NHL and eichel has had 3-4 serious injuries in his career before the age of 25. That is worrisome and is now attempting at fetching a price tag with him being 100% healthy which in no means he is.

McDavid's knee surgery was never done in the NHL before he had it done. Same with the surgery Crosby had. This isn't some new surgery. It's been around for a while. I suggest reading up on the surgery.

Eichel has had 3-4 serious injuries already? What are the other ones?

Healthy Eichel's price is way more than this. This isn't a healthy Eichel price tag.
