The Habs weren't supposed to beat the Leafs in the first round and go all the way to the Cup Finals either.

We've made a lot of progress last season, so anything could happen.

We are a heavy underdog to make the playoffs, but surprises do happen every now and then.

Sens had a real good last 2/3rds of the season after very poor start. Can they sneak into the top eight in the Conference? Iffy, but seem to be a team with a great trajectory and a high ceiling.

You never know. It’s hockey. It really depends on Stützle, Tkachuk, Batherson., Norris, Chabot etc. If our young guys can all take a step forwards I think we have a shot for one of the wild card positions. But I agree 5th is most realistic in the Atlantic at this point behind TB, FLA, BOS & TOR. I think we pass MTL lol
