sens will trade for hertl but i’m not sure i want that ek65 contract even at half retrained. He doesn’t improve our defense, which is what we really need (chabot and brannstrom are high end puck movers)

I say yes just to see San Jose pay Erik Karlsson $63.75MM for two seasons, while eating $5.75MM in dead cap for six more seasons, after losing Hertl, Stützle, & Norris, but getting Zaitsev.
