The Sabres traded away Nylander. Why would they want him back. Not sure how this trade works with out Dach in it.

Doubt Dach is involved, as he's too important to the future, but with only one first in there the prospects would need to be better.

Eichel is a better player then Dach will most likely every be. Especially in the next 3 years if you plan on going for a cup.

Still underwhelming. It's alot of stuff, just not the stuff I feel the Sabres would jump at. Sabres want high end futures (Byfield, Turcotte, Caulfield, Suzuki)

I agree that Dach will never reach Eichel's potential, but he's a key piece to their future, and they don't have too many of those at this point. They traded Boqvist for Jones and then signed him to a deal that's way too much. Toews might not return again this year. They let a guy like Pius Suter walk. I just don't think they have enough to piecemeal a Stanley Cup contender over the next 2 years

A trade for Eichel, along with adding Jones/Fleury is a move by an organization that thinks they can win now. Not saying that they are Stanley cup contenders if with that trade. But if that is the case Dach would be the main part of the trade coming back to Buffalo. Buffalo wants the main piece coming back to be a top prospect coming back. I just don't see a trade with Chicago after the Jones trade.
