The Rangers have no need for a LD at this point...and already some uncertainty at RW..a 1st wouldn't make that go away.

They'd be more interested in Monahan

Sorry for being harsh, but the value isn’t there on any of the deals in my mind. Sure the Vegas trade could maybe work in reality, but the Arizona trade is terrible for them. Jakob Chychrun is a young top-10 allround defenseman on a great longterm contract.
