I was going to say NO but then I reconsidered because Montreal will miss the playoffs and it will end up being an early to mid 2nd rounder, AND Ottawa could likely retain on Byron and move him - if not at the upcoming trade deadline, for sure at the next one.

I'm asking for some money retained since it's two seasons, and Dorion might not be able to flip Byron even with Ottawa retaining, but a double retain could help. Not asking for the moon, just 25% retained.

It's 1 season not 2 the ACGM is for 22-23 not 21-22 , also we are not trading Weber's contract as it gives us another 7.8 Mil cap space over the next 5 years.

    Montreal isn't retaining, it's 22-23 not 21-22

My bet is BOS, TBL, TOR, FLA will all be ahead of MTL in the Atlantic. And the final wildcard spot will fall to one of PIT, WSH, NYR, NYI, or CAR.
Hoffman fills some of the void in the Tatar loss but you've done nothing that will balance the loss of Weber, Danault and Perry...
