I think they'll want Dreidger. SEA convinces him to waive the NTC since situations have changed and they have a "better" starter now. I would replace Driedger with Donskoi or Soucy. But, pretty crazy this could actually work!

Bro i absolutely agree now i looked at sabres goalie and i swap drieger with soucy or lauzon one of them..i think if buffqlo trade eichel they need some good forward and donskoi is top 6 in sabres line easily.

What is this sudden trades from Seattle for Eichel? Terrible throughout. Buffalo would want a 1st, Beniers and Vince Dunn.

Also have to love these offers sending 2+ D to Buffalo. That always means it's a "here's the crap I don't want for Eichel" deal. Any Eichel deal will have max 1 RD. Just no need whatsoever beyond possibly that.

Incorrect.

Nobody has enough assets according to Buffalo fans but they are not getting anywhere near what they (fans) think they are. 🤷🏻‍♂️

1st/Beniers is a good starting point. A defenseman off the roster. Maybe a 4th mid level piece.

Francis has done a fine job and they should contend for a WC spot. You can’t compare them to what Vegas did. Vegas did not build their team via the expansion draft picks. They built it through trades. GMs learned there lesson and were not willing to make bad trades to protect the 11th and 12th guy on the roster.

This doesn’t really move needle for BUF. Lind and Lauzon don’t project out too well at this point and are too risky to turn into anything. Soucy is a nice piece but BUF doesn’t need any more LD. Donsk is a nice piece for a contending team but doesn’t make sense for BUF. Take all of those guys out, add Beniers and Dunn and switch one of the seconds to a first and maybe BUF considers.

Don’t think SEA should do what I suggested but believe that’s what it would take.
