Honestly I think this is one of those trades where both sides say no.

Rielly is a number 1d, who can play big minutes. Top end offensively. Certainly not at the same level defensively but still a 1D.

Then Dermott who is a young 3rd pair d and two prospects of decent but not top value for a top prospect (Miller) and another good but not top value prospect (Schneider).

It makes no sense for the leafs D. If they do this trade their left side all of a sudden is Muzzin and two unproven guys. May make sense in the long run but doesn't make sense for a team trying to compete now
