Im pretty sure Minnesota want Eichel to play with Kaprizov. So Minnesota declines. Then if he doesn't want to sign in Minnesota who is a playoff contender, why would he sign with the worst team in the leauge? AND Kaprizov also has a deal set with a KHL team. I don't think Buffalo will take that chance. I say both easily decline

Embarrassing trade proposal. Sabres is looking for a bright future. Kaprizov should never be a part of any teams future since he’s rather bounce around from team to team to collect as much cash as possible. You’ll have him a couple years and he will dip. Not the kind of player Buffalo needs….

If the Wild are trading Kaprizov, they are heading for a scorched earth rebuild. They would be looking for 3+ 1st rounders and tanking for both Wright and Bedard. This just keeps them in the same old mushy mediocrity they've been in for decades
