Description
Chara will be the captain of this team. He will be a great leader for the kids and he can teach them everything he knows about training, diets, education, investing e.t.c. Idc about his on ice performance too much but he will take that leader role as he can handle it. You could even sign him for the next season aswell. Olofsson is the biggest offensive threat with Eichel and Reinhart gone so he will get an A. Dahlin is the biggest star on the D and will get an A. I love Cozens and his leadership abilities so he will sometimes play with an A. After Chara leaves Cozens will take the C. Olofsson should have an extension in place before the TD. Im thinking 6x6 so we make sure he signs. If he isn't interested we give him that 7th year but if he still refuses we gotta trade him. The trade should have have him with an extension in place to maximise his value. Im thinking a 1st and a decent prospect. B+ or something like that.

Fair trades and Dahlin contract. Only disagreement about this post is that Chara isn’t signing in Buffalo under any circumstance. Other than that, looks solid

I love your ideas for the team. Only thing is that Vegas wants to offload contracts and top 6ers so Strome doesn’t make a huge amount of sense.

I like it but Sergei will nix the trade unless there is already an agreement made to trade him somewhere else. And the Sabres would probably want at least one of those prospects to be a forward in the Eichel trade. But overall I can get behind this.

Sabres decline the Eichel deal. 1 RD ok. 2? No thanks. Also makes more sense for NYR to keep at least one of those guys.

Strome is worth more than a late 2nd as a rental with zero retention.

Bobrovsky doesn't waive under any circumstance.

Koskinen deal makes sense. So not a total disaster...

You'd have to pay Chara $5-6M minimum to get him to consider Buffalo and he probably still says no.

If Chara wants to still play in the NHL he may have to play where he's offered a contract. But Chara in a sabres jersey will never happen

The Eichel deal is bad and should be killed with fire.

The FLA deal would cost more, he'd be at 5x8 mil still and thats akin to what Skinner would cost which isnt a 1st, 2nd and a prospect.

Swap out one of the d with a forward- kakko/chytil and its fine. Its going to cost an awful lot more to take bobs contract. Nobody is touching that contract, even at 8 million, if the sabres are planning to weaponize cap space, they should be just fine with a much shorter cap dump. If you need to move out a bad contract, and arizona doesnt have room, theres just not many teams that are willing to take that contract, and if its more than a couple years, good luck.
