Honestly, this team looks pretty underwhelming -- I can't see them even sniffing the playoffs with these moves.

I'm pretty sure if Pettersson to Detroit was going to happen it would've happened before Yzerman filled out the roster with UFAs.

The only wildcard to me, is DeKeyser's health, but I agree... I think the window for Petterson to the Wings making sense has closed...

He didn't live up to the first year of a hefty contract, so they all hate him, but he's still young with some upside... I still think he can grow into his contract, but now with Edvinson in the system, Wallinder (whom I'm VERY bullish on), not to mention Sebrango, McIssac(maybe) and Viro, it's just hard to see a scenario in which they gum up the left side for 4 years with a "young" guy...
