Description

FWIW an Instagram account tagged Sorokin in a post that said that Sorokin was closing in a 3 year deal 4 mill per and that’s Sorokins agent Dan Milstein said the parties were close to signing a new agreement.

I think it would be a good contract for the isles, Sorokin has a good chance at being a top 10 goalie for the next 3 years.

If true, I do think that is a good deal for both sides, I had him at 3.3.5. We’ll see if it comes into fruition

I’m good with 3 years, I just didn’t want 2. I’m hoping the UFA market for goalies changes by than and goalies of his caliber get no more than 6-7 mill (no bobrovsky/price deals).

Sorokin should provide a ton of excess value on this contract.

At 4 million per I would've liked 4 years but with the RFA goalie market where it is I'm not upset.

It doesn't make sense for either party to sign anything more than 1 year.
