I'm actually OK with a slight overpayment for Tarasenko when it comes to my Hurricanes. Our farm system is by far the deepest of all contending outfits in the league, and the only systems deeper than ours are the clubs that need every single prospect that they can possibly get, AKA. the rebuilding teams like Detroit/Los Angeles. Trading 3 good prospects + a 3rd doesn't mortgage the future at all, especially for a player with 2 seasons remaining.

Just use Niederreiter as the chip to persuade St Louis. That frees up the cap, and you're probably about right in terms of value. Then you're looking at adding assets for STL to retain

I seen alot of Canes fans up in arms over Suzuki going to Buffalo in a mock Eichel trade... But Senko is worth Suzuki? I don't understand this site.

I'm not one of those Canes fans lol. I'm just fine with any one of Suzuki or Bokk as the main piece in a top-6 forward trade. Heck, with Eichel, I'd happily deal Jarvis + Suzuki.

I think Bokk and a 2nd gets Tarasenko. Not sure if the cap works though. Probably does if Gardiner goes on LTIR.
