Eklund Plays From Day 1

Created by: Burnzie8_88_4Cup
Team: 2021-22 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 19, 2021
Published: Aug. 19, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Timo, Balcers and Dahlen could switch Lines, based on chemistry and results. I could see Timo on L1 RW because he's bigger then Balcers and Hertl can bang on L2. As of now, I like these Lines to start.

If he stays in San Jose for the season, I could see him getting some games in the NHL, but most of the time he'd be in the AHL.

Wishful thinking on my part, I just feel if he's here, that he'll be good enough for the Sharks, kinda like Marleau in his rookie year.

I'd switch Balcers and Labanc. Balcers was good but Labanc has more finish and passing ability than Balcers.

I put Balcers there because he seems to mesh with Cooch and he's a better defender then Bancer.

Yes and a better defender should be on the 3rd line taking defensive zone draws while Labanc is top six taking offensive zone draws. See my point.

I think he should get some NHL games. But in all honesty I am more keen to see Dahlen get more top six minutes than Eklund. Dahlen is wayyy more ready.

I wonder why they didn't bring Dahlen to Dev. Camp?

Dahlen is a lock to make the team basically. He's been developing for years in pro leagues. If he doesn't play well the Sharks can send him down but he'll have to pass thru waivers where he will undoubtedly be claimed.

Balcers isnt better defensively and you're placing him on his off side. Labanc clearly meshed better than Balcers.

I knew he played overseas, but not with SJ, it just would be cool to see him.

Marleau was a clear franchise type player and clear all star to be. Eklund is really good, but isnt a lock like Marleau.

Dev Camp really isnt for players the Sharks know well. Dev Camp is for Sharks brass to see guys that are likely to not make the team, and send them home with homework. He'll be at Sharks camp.

It's too late to buyout Kane this year.

If he is in fact guilty his contract will likely be terminated. If not, they'll be big boys and reconcile and Evander can score 30 again oh well.

that's true, but nja has kane bought out. That cant happen. As for reconciling, I doubt it. There is only so much BS people can deal with and he's toxic in general. If he stays, the Sharks will be worse. Especially since what the team really needs is accountability and there is no way that complete fool of a head coach will do that.
