Personally, I think the Devils have a shot to make some noise this year already. The reason being that I feel several teams in your division took a step back this off season and are in a decline. But that is a personal opinion with not a lot of hard facts to back it up. If the Devils can pick up some scoring I think they are already a team that could steal a round in the playoffs.

Not a fan of this deal- Keller hasn’t been very good and is owed a pretty penny. One could view this as a cap dump for the Yotes, as they’re taking pack Subbans 9 mil for one season and dumping Keller’s 7-ish for 7 more seasons. Would need to, at a minimum, throw a top 10 protection on the pick since odds are the Devils will not be making the playoffs this season.

Oh wow thats actually a really interesting idea. I would have no clue who wins this long term honestly. I mean I would think there is still a chance Devils don't make playoffs so I would almost say accept if I'm the yotes, but idk forsure.
