Leafs don’t make sense for Troch. He could get more and he can’t play LW. Better options for you out there at LW since you’re full at C and RW.

If LTIR = traded, then why are you using its 7 mill cap space to make this idea work?

but its irrelevant since any money in LTIR adds salary cap. If they're traded they can't add cap to the team. So the entirety of Troch 6 mill needs to be removed to get under the cap when u remove them from LTIR.

Cap Friendly designs the LTIR similarly to when you trade a player. I can trade all three of Kerfoot, Holl, and Dermott, and I will end up with the same cap space. See below

Not much rational thinking you can trade 1.5m Dermot and 2m Holl and then think you can sign a competent RHD in Bortuzzo for 750,000.
PS. Rangers never do that trade anyway. All 31 other teams have the same cap as the Leafs.
