If Krebs and Schneider are unavailable than Hintz isn’t even part of the question, he’s miles better than both of those guys.

Dallas will be one of the last teams for Eichel because:

1). Cap is tight with the Benn and Seguin contracts
2). Last time Nill made a big trade was in 2013-15.

Not a bad trade, might not be exactly what buffalo want with 2 established good roster players. It would make them better today and could hurt their lottery odds. Counter argument being that Dallas wouldnt move 2 roster players for 1 player with health concerns, when they struggle to stay healthy already.

Benn is the type of Leader who can pull even a team like BUF back into the playoffs.
He's not the player offensively he was but he's still the same player overall as he's a solid 200 foot player

IF For some reason BUF doesnt like the Fit (unlikely but could happen right away or 4 years from now as a pending UFA)
Retain and flip him for a fortune as Benn at 4.75m cap for 1-4 years will bring Contender Knocking

There's a lot more upside and Profit to be made having a piece like Benn in the Deal
A Lot more upside for DAL who will now have the cap to re-sign players like Pavelski and Radulov if they choose
(keeping Benn and Eichel would make that hard on the 25 you have left to sign everyone next year with only 11/23 players signed)
