For who? I know CGY doesn’t have another top 6 guy in the wings to replace him but this would be a very good package (too much IMO) but I think MTL could reasonably use him.

Monahan might make sense to ease KK's transition, but that's too much in terms of assets and salary for someone who we are hoping will spend significant portions of this season and most of the next in the press box as KK and Poehling take over (fingers crossed).

Yes he is, he just keeps getting held back. He elevates his game in the post season and still plays sound defensively and still went 49.35% in the faceoff dots in the playoffs. Of all the centers on the team KK finished behind only Danault (54.17) and Evans (51.28) in faceoff wins in the playoffs. Many keep wanting StaL back for veteran presence but he was our worst center at the dot both in the playoffs (44.31). Give KK a legitimate shot and I think he will prove his worth, otherwise why are we keeping him at this point?!
