The Slavin Pelech Jones argument you guys are having

Slavin was easily a top 3 d-man in last years playoffs. Pelech was a top 5 d-men last year, not over the last 3 years, but he was last year. 3-5 years ago ish Jones was even Norris calibre from analytics. Now he’s a disaster. While he isn’t the disaster analytics perceive him as, you don’t post analytical results that bad if your a Norris calibre d-man. It just wouldn’t happen

His analytics were good in 18-19 and if I remember they were even better than that 4-5 years ago

To my Norris quality analytics comment… from 2016 to 2018 according to the TopDown Hockey model he was above the 95 percentile in WAR
