Is Scandella such a problem? To me, him and Eddy are similar players with similar deals. You would really be happy with giving up 2 2nds, 2 3rds just to get Eddy back and get rid of Marco?

Yeah, Edmundson is way better. The habs aren’t going to give him up, since he plays great with Petry, and he’s our 2nd best defenseman. (That includes last season when we had Weber) The only way they’d consider it is if the season went horribly wrong and we ended up as a basement team. In which case this would likely be what is needed to land him.

I agree Scandella is garbage hence the reason we traded him lol. Also love Eddy, he compliments Petry so well. I don't think the Habs would give him up.

No, he's not even remotely near being this much of a problem. He just has an irrational hatred of the player for some reason that never gets explained.

It's a tough division, but the Habs play well against good teams. It's the weaker teams where they give away points regularly. Addressing goal scoring and the PP should help with that.
The top teams will be splitting points among them, so only one or two teams might be able to really jump out ahead. That leaves the other 3 or 4 within reach of each other usually.

I dont think he the only problem but hes the biggest issue alone by himself right not but ill give him another chance during a normal season of play and we will see how he does then

I honestly have no idea how you came to that conclusion. While it's by no means a perfect stat, Scandella led our D-men in +/- last season. He skates well, plays to his good size and moves the puck pretty safely. And all that while being juggled around from left to right and from partner to partner (some of whom were green as can be) all season long.
