as to the monahan deal. he was slightly above a .5 ppg player and you want a first in the deepest draft, a former first, a roster player and a cap dump? idk man i wouldnt want to commit that capital atm.

If monahan bounces back very well, that makes sense. If it’s what he’s done the last two years, it’s an overpay.

Coyle, Studnicka and Haula (possibly even Nosek) would all have to suck and Monahan and DeBrusk would have to vastly improve for this to even be considered, unlike the Giordano trade (which won’t be considered at all).
