No thanks. JT Ledouche's bullying of soft Buch for years, getting booted out of two perfect destinations and soon a third! Too bad because he'd fit. Then again, we finally have guys with kahunas that would hopefully stop it, before it actually starts...

Fair trade

I think the Canucks could be interested in Schenider too

Maybe add Schenider, drop the 3rd and have an extension in place for JT.

Again with the "opposite of what we should do" according to Debbie fans lol.
I think the Debbies could be interested in not facing SchNEIder too lol.
Maybe 1st & Mercer for extended JT Ledouche. Please do!

Thats too much for a guy Vancouver is actively trying to sell.

I’ve had plenty of people disagree with me on this site but this has to be the weirdest rationale from someone who disagreed with my acgm…

Are they trying to sell him?

Maybe Schneider+2nd/3rd?

For a team like Vancouver, I think Schenider would be more important and a mid to late first

I would do that too, plus that balance both rosters more effectively imo. My trade was just from a Canucks thread. I just don’t think Miller gets *two* firsts in Schneider and NYR’s 2022 1st.

@sedin33 would you like Braden Schneider in return, if the 1st were reduced to a 2nd?

Would prefer a first. Vancouver has given a few firsts and would need to restock to prospect pool.

True that Vancouver hasn’t drafted in the first since Podkolzin, but at the same time you haven’t traded any future 1sts and I’d consider Braden Schneider to still be a prospect by next season, but one who’s ready for NHL ice time.

In the end I would accept either trade (1st + 3rd or Schneider + 2nd + 3rd) but I don’t see the Canucks as a team who desperately needs to restock their prospect pool like a rebuilding team for instance

Not like rebuilding team, but a cap team with expensive players that will need players on ELC to make an impact

Schneider is on an ELC through 2023-24 though?
