Devils aren't going to trade Zacha unless its a big overpayment. He was their leading scorer last year with 35 in 50. He was even better when he played wing (when Nico returned), being over a point per game.

It should be noted for Habs fans....Zacha is not a center anymore....that has failed, but he played really well on wing.

I'd try and get back a little bit more for Zacha but a 1st and a depth forward is certainly in the ballpark.

With Tatar coming in, I fear Zacha going back to 3C and stinking it up and his value plummets... He had a really good end of the year, but if that is the best he can play, I'll take the risk on an unconditional 1st for a a Canes team with suspect goaltending...
