I would lose all hope in this franchise if we traded Slavin, Fleury and a 1st for a guy who could leave in two years. No way.

I can't imagine any reason why any one thinks Landeskog is a difference maker especially at 5.6m a year. He's not. For the Canes to give arguably their top Dman, a good prospect and a top 5 pick likely is unfathomable to me. Canes have cap space. They can find better value at wing spending 5.6m without giving up any assets.

Landeskog is signed for 4 more years. Duchene is the one with 2 years left on his contract.

you honestly are such a point total troll now man, what happened to you. All you look at is how many points a player has and go from roster to roster saying its not a good trade bc he has x amount of points. There are articles and articles talking about all the intangibles and value in Landeskog and Duchene and low point totals from them in a historically low scoring team this year from the Avs doesnt paint the complete picture on them.

I am starting to think you dont really have very much knowledge outside of box scores and watching the leafs
