Description

If you ask me, MTL would be best served getting another center. However, I understand that the fans want to see how Poehling does at 3C before making a move. That’s okay.

I think the Blackhawks should do this to restock on some prospect depth. The organization is pretty bare on NHL projectable forwards and this trade addresses that.

Additional Details:

Shaw is included as a cap extension kit. Just trust me it works.

MTL should do this trade because it bolsters their center depth and gets them a NHL ready player in Kalynuk.

I think this is an overpay by MTL and lord knows they've made enough bad decisions for one off-season.

I get liking your prospects, but the odds are that one prospect out of the bunch makes it as a full time NHLer. Strome is already an NHLer, and has a bright future ahead of him in the league. I think this deal is pretty fair.

Think it's more that MTL wouldn't want to trade away any more youth away. Lost KK, giving Arizona the higher draft pick, plus trading away our two second round picks from a year ago would be to much for one off season

24 isn't 20 and Habs have to mix the Anderson's, Dvorak's, Drouins at 25-27 of age with the next wave coming in. Need those 19-20 year olds to be there for Suzuki and Caufield to play with in a couple years. Think they try patience and don't trade away youth this season then use it to get another player in that mid twenties trying to win move

I agree MTL need another center but you are obviously not getting 3 good prospects for Strome.
