Its tough to give up 3 first rounders in a row, especially when we probably wont be able to re-sign the guy. Just not sure I'd give that up for a rental

He'd have to extend. $6.5M between Strome and Connolly...Hawks might be able to make it work.

As a side note. Hertl would still paly center IMO. Toews Hertl TJ is really good center depth.

Think more would need to come back if you are asking San Jose to take on $9 mil in cap.
