Icing a 20 man roster is not a smart move. But how does adding Gusev to our roster help?

He is far better player than people think, he can easily make 70p with mathews

There’s no proof of that. He got a 44 point season 2 years ago and he was very mediocre last year.

Plus saying that someone can score a lot of points with Matthews doesn’t mean anything about their value as a player. I can just as easily say that Kassian is valuable because he scored a bunch of points with McDavid.
