I think Anaheim would prefer to keep Comtois and try and build around him.
If you want to dump players you have to over something more than a dozen spots up in the last few rounds of a draft. Detroit might take Byron for a second round pick, we have no use for him. Most teams wouldn't have any use for him, or his cap hit for his term.

Comtois is a Winger. And the Ducks decline. Not because of the value, but because it doesn't make sense to trade him. He would likely only be included in a deal for someone like Eichel.
