Boston or Toronto we're in good shape for the first round. Won't be easy, but we have the depth.
I think Florida and Tampa have us beat on paper and are probably deeper. Will be tough to get out of the first round against either.

All comes down to matchups and what the final rosters look like. We have too many question marks to be confident right now.

They have a ton of depth. I think it’s a dogfight in that division within those top five teams.
Ottawa, Detroit and obviously Buffalo round out the bottom.

I think TB and Fla separate themselves from the rest before seasons end. Tor and Boston will fight for 3rd and final spot in the division with the other holding off Habs for a WC spot. 6 teams in the Metro better than Habs. 🤷🏻‍♂️ May not finish with more points because of scheduling tho.

Let’s not forget they were 8 games under .500 in a weak division last year. Got hot at the right time and there was a lot of fluke to it as it well.

Dvorak is an upgrade over KK and Caufield for a full season is an upgrade. The defense got worse and the schedule got harder. They will be better but not enough. They need Boston to disappoint, which is certainly possible.

A lot of fluke? LOL, please do explain. They were simply better than TOR, WPG and VGK.

And how is the schedule harder this year? Are you forgetting that COVID protocols forced the Habs to play their final 25 games over 43 days last season?

FLO and TB are the best on paper.

Never bet against Boston. Ullmark will deliver.

Toronto tooks two steps back. Mrazek is way worst than Andersen and Hyman's drive on the 1st line will be highly missed. They made no improvment.

MTL can finish in front of them if injuries dont mess it up.

At least closer to miss the playoffs than to win the cup.

Last playoffs showed they are one star injury away to be an average team. And they are not that team anymore.
