I think Tavares is good obviously, but I don’t think he is 11 mil good. So as a bruins fan I would be hesitant to trade for him unless I could get him at a lower trade value.

I do think this helps out the leafs (obvs they loose a top Center) But no team can afford to have 2 centres making over 10 mil dollars. So this relieves cap issues for the leafs. You already lost Hyman. Probably will lose Reilly because you have too much cap space dedicated to Matthews, Marner, and Tavares, so that’s why I see it helping the leafs. Because of those 3, I think Tavares is the least valuable.
