Lou literally offered tavares a mirror aav deal with an 8th year on the island.
Also cody ceci left as a free agent and is awful.
Also you forgot martin, komarov and the horrid defence that lou left that had to be rebuilt by dubas so those guys arnt there.
Also this team is worse

worse team better cap situation. we wouldnt have lost Marner for nothing cuz if we weren't signing him he would be traded

we wouldn’t have Muzzin, Brodie or Holl.

we’d still have Zaitsev, Komarov, Martin.

Lou offered JT a very similar contract, just with an extra year in NYI.

Cody Ceci was worse than a pylon in Toronto.

Probably wouldn’t have Mrazek, or Campbell.

Spezza would be signed for $5mil because that’s how Lou rolls.

Also, trading Marner is almost the dumbest thing that we could do.
