ARI
  1. Damiani, Riley
  2. Khudobin, Anton
Additional Details:
Khudobin wasn't good last year, however that isn't to say he's not still a capable goalie. I have no idea what Ben Bishop's health is, but Dallas getting Hotlby who is younger suggests that Khudobin isn't in their plans. Oettinger and Holtby would seem to their 1/2. Khudobin comes to the Yotes with a chance to be the number 1 over Hutton, and it allows Korenar to share the net with Prosvetov in Tucson and develop.

Damiani is an undersized player with great compete who had a really nice first pro season last year in the AHL, if I'm the Coyotes I'd rather have a flyer on a young pro than another 3rd rounder. At worst he makes Tucson better, at best, maybe he's a Garland type (undersized, skilled, hard worker) that pops after being a late round pick.

For the Stars, at the end of the day Kessel can still score. He was a terrific soldier for the Coyotes the last two years, often played on lines centered by either Johan Larsson and winger by Lawson Crouse last year rarely being put with Hall the year before or Garland and Keller. Despite that he scored at a 30 goal pace. He can still help a power play and Dallas needs all the goals it can get. He's certainly an upgrade on the 3rd line over Raffl or Kiviranta.

The money is even, it's a win win deal.

Dallas says no.

Damiani is a pretty good prospect who brings playmaking to a team desperatly needing playmakers.

Switch Damiani for Tufte and 3rd and it's a deal. Tufte skates pretty well for a big guy.

Idk much about damiani but unless his value is around that of a 2nd round pick arizona declines.

I'd rather lose that 2nd over Damiani.

Damiani was a 5th round pick in 2018 so it’s kind of normal he did not get great attention from the hockey community. He had a strong junior career and was a PPG as a 20 year old in the AHL last year. This enabled him to win the « Calder ». A very strong prospect that I can’t wait to see during training camp.

If I was Kessel I would agree to be traded almost anywhere.
